• The Catalina Island Foundation is a charitable initiative who’s mission is to “support local entities that are working to maintain or improve the quality of life on Santa Catalina Island”  Your support of CIF supports the many efforts throughout the island, such as KISL who is a recipient of CIF’s 2014 funding! Thanks Catalina Island Foundation!
• Southern California Edison not only powers KISL but they also empowered the station with a communities grant this year!
• The City of Avalon Recreation Department provides many activity opportunities for the community. Find out what they have going on at their Facebook page or follow along on their twitter and then get all the forms you need to make your event happen at the City’s website. • The Catalina Island Women’s Forum‘s does some great things on Catalina, including the annual wine festival. Find out more here
• The Catalina Film Festival also brings films to the island year round through the Catalina Film Society.  You can listen to interviews with the film makers on Catalina Film Radio.  And don’t forget about the next generation of film makers cultivated through the Catalina Film Institute.
• The Catalina Island Museum opens the doors to Catalina’s past, which sheds light on our present and future.
• The Catalina Art Association shares art with  Catalina.
