Social media Intern

KISL 88.7 FM in Avalon, CA (www.kislavalon.com) seeks a motivated individual to assist with managing and keeping current KISL’s social media platforms. The duties include tracking analytics for social media campaigns, creating social media posting schedules and writing captions for social media posts.

We are looking for a humble, hungry, and smart Social Media Intern to help us post content to our channels. You will be a great fit if:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• HOURS
  • Approximately 30 minutes to 2 hours, 2 to 4 days a week.
• Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns, posts and updates
• Work with station DJs to support and create content promoting their shows, may include on air radio promo-announcements/videos for social media
• Keep multiple social media platforms updated, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and as needed the KISL website
• Identify additional social media platforms, present benefits to the KISL organization
  • If approved add to the official KISL social media list of accounts, and manage posts
• Ensure content posted meets the values and mission of KISL and CIPAF
• Create and distribute content such as blogs, infographics, videos and press releases on social media and traditional news outlets 
• Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability
• Support marketing at live and online events 

COMPENSATION

This is an unpaid internship. The internship is for 3 months, but can be extended.

You will gain actual, hands on, management of the KISL official social media accounts.
