FREE FERRY TRANSPORTATION FOR MEDICAL TREATMENT – If you have a doctor’s order to go to a
specialist on the mainland over-town and have financial difficulty you may qualify for afree round-trip ferry pass.
This is part of a grant from the Avalon Rotary Club.  Have your doctors office contact the Catalina Medical
Center, Social Services Coordinator at 310-510-0700.

Catalina Classic skateboard race
 one-mile down the mountain streets to the beach.
 It features professional 48 long-board racers invited to compete for the $5,000 prizeSunday May 6th. 
The all-weekend festive will have live-bands and mini-ramp demos. Thats May 5th and 6th weekend.
 
More than $10,000 in Cash, a trip to Alaska plus numerous prizes will be awarded to winners at the 
White Sea Bass Championship
 at Two-Harbors.  Sponsored by Yamaha.  $100 registration fee deadline May 11th.
