  1. Science is sometimes a difficult subject for teachers to tie into real life applications for their students across the ages. By using sports science fair projects, however, this process is much easier for the teacher to point out to the student. It makes the validity of the science process much more realistic. Indeed, many of the careers that students will eventually go into, such as engineering, environmental science, astronomy and biology, have a strong sports aspect to them. Making the bridge between the students interests and first grade science is crucial to getting, and keeping, their attention at this crucial age.
